A visual novel where you're lonely, so you summon a demon to be your girlfriend. How well it goes depends on your choices.

This game was made for the Anime Game Dev Community! #1, a game jam about anything and everything related to anime. My first game. 


Instructions:
Press the space bar to go to next dialogue.
Left Mouse Click on buttons/choices

Warnings: 

  • Mild blood/gore
  • romance, hugs, kisses, but nothing too graphic
  • manipulation, possessiveness
  • poor self esteem, loss of identity, self-harm (for demon-summoning purposes)


Features:  

  • 8 endings
  •  5 illustrations 
  • no saves right now (couldn't figure out how to do that on HTML lol) 
    • UPDATE: convenient retry buttons to avoid going through the whole script again after each ending
  • 7500-ish words (about an hour if you try to get all endings)

I liked it! Managed to get 3 endings, then I started going in circles, lol.

I'm honestly not surprised about the going in circles thing, especially with the whole quiz section at the beginning (whoopsie)... Which is why I recently updated the game! So, at the beginning, pick all the second options to all the questions until it forces you to click only one button. From there, the rest of the paths are straightforward (pick this and you get an ending | pick that and you go further). The update makes it so that you can reset after each ending (so no more circling around in the beginning). I hope this helps! If it doesn't... There's probably a big I need to fix 😅. But hey, thanks for playing and I'm glad you liked it!
